Unfair trial In cases of stoning the judges are allowed to someone sentence someone to stoning without asking for permission from the government as well as often without proof of the crime.Iran law allows a judge to sentence someone based on their knowledge. This means that someone forget be put to death not based on evidence but rather on the feelings of the judge. This means that many cases are dirtyly tried. Abuse towards Women Right to life, liberty, and security of person without distinction of any kind, including sex (Articles 2 and 3 of the UDHR) (http//www. stop-stoning. org/node/10) Most of the victims of stoning are women who have been discriminated due to their statutes, customs or values. In actions that can be seen as violating normal behaviour, women are more likely to be assigned the wickedness especially in the cases of adultery. The women in these relationships have a higher discover of being stoned to death while the men will c ope with less severe or even no punishment. Cultural or Religious Context In past history, stoning has been seen as custom in many cultures and religions including Jewish and Greek communities. Stoning now is associated with Islam and Muslim cultures however there is no mention of stoning in these their religion book, the Quran (religious text of Islam. The only mention is implied in the Hadith (narrations concerning the run-in and deeds of the Islamic prophet Muhammad) when the Prophet Muhammad dealt with the Jewish Law. There have been many debates within Muslim religious communities as well as many people have spoken out against stoning axiom it humiliates and defames Islam even though it is not accepted as Islamic Law. imputable to this many Muslim nations have now banned death by stoning however there are sleek over many countries that every under law or due to the community still uses stoning as a form of punishment. In Iran many Muslim people consider that stoning can be se en as Islamic however there is no proof to show that this is part of either religion. Those who violate rights take away something from humans they do not give them the respect or treatment that they deserve which means that they do not have dignity. It has been taken away from them with no reason. The effect of this is that the person can then live in fear or they do not to the full demote as they do not have the basic forms of security. Unfair trials or accusations mean that humans are not treated as equal. They acquire to have certain material objects or statuses in society in order to receive treatment that they deserve. They are not seen as ingenuous until proven guilty they are seen as guilty based on one persons opinion. When women are abused or seen as less superior they are also not treated as equal. They are discriminated against which can make them feel worthless. This can cause them to be unable to fully grow and develop into independent human beings as they have not been given the opportunity to achieve their full potential. When humans grow up in hard situations they are more given up to do wrong live decisions or they just do what they are told as they have not be exposed to the freedom of making their own choice.Unique cases show how the human spirit cant incessantly be broken so these people are able to fully develop however if they are never exposed to this hope, to certain human rights, they will conform and live by societies rules even if it mean stoning someone to death. As of 2010, stoning is still exertd in Saudi Arabia Afghanistan Somalia Nigeria Sudan Iraq Iran If cultural and religious practice is defend by the reputation, do you conceive that it is then acceptable/ justifiable to practice the specific example you hav e researched. Certain cultural and religious practices are protected by the constitution as they are protecting the human rights that state one is allowed to practice the religion or culture they chose without being discriminated against. However there has to be a balance between human rights and beliefs as one cant neglect one of them as they are both protected by the constitution. There have been many negotiations between these two points of keep an eye on and many religions and countries have reached an agreement. This is not however.Stoning is seen as part of the Islam cultures however it is not stated in the Quran. This means that the cultural and religious point of discover is not justifiable as stoning is not a religious practice. Many of the countries where stoning still takes place, such as Iran and Afghanistan, are part of the International Convention of Civil and Political Rights. Article 6 of the ICCPR states that in countries which have not abolished the death penalty , sentence of death may be imposed only for the most serious crimes (http//www. stop-stoning. rg/node/10) Adultery is not a serious crime however people are still executed cause of these crimes as well as they are hagridden which is a violation of the Human Rights, ICCPR and the Law of certain countries. If a cultural and religious practice is protected by the constitution it can be accepted to practice it if it is within the boundaries of human rights as human rights are also protected by the constitution. Death by stoning is not a religious practice therefore it isnt protected by this part of the constitution as well as stoning for the crime of adultery is not allowed according to agreements made.Bibliography culture oregonstate. edu/instruct/anth370/gloss. hypertext markup language en. wikipedia. org/wiki/Cultural_relativism wordnetweb. princeton. edu/perl/webwn http//www. iran-e-azad. org/stoning/ en. wikipedia. org/wiki/Human_Rights_(Women_in_Armed_Forces)_Amendment_Act_2007 http//community. babycenter. com/post/a22865769/the_stoning_of_suraya_m. http//rayharris57. files. wordpress. com/2009/12/human-rights-day. jpg http//science. jrank. org/pages/9933/Law-Human-Dignity. htmlhttp//www. stop-stoning. org/node/13 http//en. wikipedia. org/wiki/AdulteryStoning en. wiktionary. rg/wiki/human_rights en. wikipedia. org/wiki/Human_rights http//www. quotegarden. com/h-rights. html http//en. wikipedia. org/wiki/Hadith http//en. wikipedia. org/wiki/Dignity en. wikipedia. org/wiki/Rights http//en. wikipedia. org/wiki/Human_rights http//www. stop-stoning. org/node/10 http//en. wikipedia. org/wiki/Stoning http//www. dhushara. com/book/sakina/stoningetc/stoning. htm Bibliography Information http//www. unglobalcompact. org/aboutthegc/thetenprinciples/humanRights. html http//civilliberty. about. com/od/capitalpunishment/ig/Types-of-Executions/Death-by-Stoning. tm http//www. worldinconversation. org/wp-content/uploads/2011/02/freedom. jpg http//meydaan. net/English/showar ticle. aspx? desiccated=133&cid=46 http//answers. yahoo. com/question/index? qid=20100706003525AASKrvg http//hubpages. com/hub/The-Stoning-of-Women-in-Iran-Its-global-impact http//www. nypost. com/p/blogs/capitol/message_for_president_obama_regarding_5uChiwg2KiCzjn7V3OnxyM http//www. unglobalcompact. org/aboutthegc/thetenprinciples/humanRights. html http//www. beyondintractability. org/essay/human_rights_violations/

It is a high end fashion brand that specializes in fashion clothing, shoes, writing and accessories. Currently, TopShop has 150 workers for its factory in New Jersey, and has hired a adviser to commotion some advice that could help it make a decision as to whether it should shut down completely or continue operations. In addition, TopShop has coke workers that produce 6,000 units of output per calendar month (working 20 days / month). The daily enlist (per worker) is $70, and the harm of the unwaverings output is $32. The cost of opposite uncertain inputs is $2,000 per day. The firms fixed cost is high enough so that the firms total costs exceed its total tax revenue. The fringy cost of the last unit is $30.2. survey the current environmental scan factors. Determine the factors that will have the greatest impact on seed down operations and managements decision to continue or discontinue operations. The environmental scan factor refers to the macro environment and is the activity of getting information about events and relationships in a companys outside environment, the knowledge of which would assist top management in its task charting the companys future course of action. (Aguilar,1967). Comparably, finance, marketing, and operations will have the greater impact on plant operations and managements decisions in determining if the operation continues its business.First, finance is responsible for acquiring financial resources at favorable footings and allocating those resources throughout the business, as well as budgeting, analyzing, investment proposals, and providing coin for operations. Secondly, marketing aims to analyze and determine consumer demands in the future, thus selling and promoting its products and services. Thirdly, operations are responsible for production of goods and customer services in business. In addition, the production of goods or services supply could qualify inputs into outputs ( Michaels, 2011). Inputs such as capital, labor, and information are used to create goods or a service. That is wherefore companies take measurements at various points in the transformation process and then compares them with previously established standards to determine whether corrective action is needed. In other words, the three factors finance, marketing and operation can work in the film and interpretation of the political, economic, social and technological (PEST abridgment) events and trends which influence a business, an industry or even a total market. In summary, they have the greatest impact on plant operation and managements decision.3. Evaluate the financial performance of the company using the information provided in the scenario. Consider all the key drivers of performance, such as company profit or loss for both the short term and long term. A decision was make to hire Mr. Blake Lively as a managing consultant to offer suggestions to remedy Topshops financial performance. Based on the data given, Blake considered the hobby key drivers of performance and the financial analysis. The details are pursuit blow employees produce 6,000 units in a month. The price is $32The total revenue per day = 6,000*$32 = $192,000Daily betroth per employee = $70Total wage in one month = 20days * 100 employees * $70 = $140,000Total variable star cost = variable inputs + total wage in one month= $2,000*20days+ $140,000 = $180,000 per month.AVC=TVC/Q=$180,000/6,000=$30 per unitNet income=Total Revenue-TVC=192,000-180,000=$12,000Based on the analysis of data, Topshop could continue its operations in short term because the $32 price is more than AVC $30, and the revenue received per month is $12,000.However, in the long term, Topshop should earnestly consider the option of shutting down completely. The main reason beingness that the firms fixed cost is high enough so that its total costs exceed its total revenue, and the price must be less than AVC. Under this situation, the firm has no other recourse plainly to close its operation.4. Recommend how the company can improve its profitability. Then, develop a brief plan to implement the recommendations.Every business can improve its profitability by aiming to increase profitability, reduce costs, consider the price, and expand the market. steal more effectivelyOne of the most obvious routes to increasing the profitability is to buy more effectively. However, it is essential to test any price increases before they are made permanent.Expand your marketMoving into raw(a) market areas can transform a business and if handled correctly, can portentously increase the profitability. Also, there is no labor union for accountants. However, she begins talking to her co-workers during lunch breaks and sometimes during regular work hours, encouraging them to organize and form a union to protect ourselves. This can be a difficult situation because it involves the employees religious rights. And agencies shall accommodate employees exercise of their religion in the circumstances specified in these Guidelines. These requirements are but applications of the general convention that agencies shall treat all employees with the same respect and consideration, regardless of their re ligion. At the same time, employees are not to engage in religious acts with employees by forcing their beliefs and opinions on them. This can cause immediate termination. Regardless of religious observation day or not, an employee is not to take a work day off without employers permission. The employer has every right to terminate the employee. The employee and her supervisor later begin having a consensual kind.Based from the research according to Saalfeld Griggs PC Publications, a supervisor dating an employee is prohibited within many companies. Although romantic relationships in the workplace are common, employers have legitimate reasons for concern about employee dating. The biggest fear is a inner harassment lawsuit arising from either a supervisor who has a dress of asking subordinates out on dates an employee who files a lawsuit after a consensual relationship goes sour or the perception of co-workers that a supervisor is playing favorites with his or her significant other. A policy that prohibits a supervisor from dating a subordinate must also describe the punishment imposed if the policy is violated.Men often hold more senior(a) positions in a company, therefore, a policy that always penalizes the subordinate (e .g. by requiring termination or transfer) may create sexual discrimination liability. When enforcing a no dating policy, the employer must be careful to penalize both sexes equally. An employer who selectively enforces the policy, or enforces it more harshly against one sex compared to the other, may be liable for sexual discrimination. In a consensual relationship between a supervisor and a subordinate, the subordinate often is the telephone receiver of preferential treatment. Employees have asserted claims for sexual harassment based on the theory that they cant receive the same benefits because they are not sleeping with the boss. The policy is in writing and both the employer and employee decided to go against this policy. Newer technologies like selecting products through mobiles can also attract customers as it can save their time. (Ben PEST analysis of Tesco in UK) Difficulties and hurdles Tesco has faced when starting its business in IndiaThe main unmanageabley TESCO has faced is the criticism by the Indian Population. If we consider most of the population in India is middle class and most are in the business of retailing in small levels so they have the fear that when such a multinational start its operation in India then there business will destroyed so they were against of it by this behavior of People the political opposition parties take this issue in headlines strikes are called by this all the planning of TESCO is heightend according to the environment change so Tesco have to reschedule its planning. The other problem is that religious issue is also come into existence which is animal welfare. The other main reason is the Foreign instantly Investment Policy regarding Retailing in India which is * FDI up to 100% cash and carry wholesale * FDI is not permitted in Multi Brand retailing in India The other factors which effect are the * Unstable environment As Indian financial position or economy not remains the uniform all the time, other than that there is Political instability, by which rules and regulation change rapidly. * A lot of political pressuresThis creates in this sense that in India there are many casts and religion one party is in fav our of one cast and vice versa. The party which is ruling has pressure on such stores and multinational companies to follow their customs and deals with there peoples. * Culture motley * Difficulty to understand the Indian market * High risk of mishap * Indirect access to market figures. Etc Hurdles in live cyclosis NO TESCOS HERE Shops and schools were forced to close during demonstrations against a government ratiocination to open Indias retail market to foreign companies such as Tesco and Wal-Mart.The partly successful national strike saw plainers burn effigies of primitive Minister Manmohan Sing and holding signs reading Go Back Wal-Mart whilst disrupting set up services, blocking the tracks. A key partner in Indias ruling alignment has withdrawn support from the government and said its ministers would resign in protest over a plan to allow foreign retailers such as Tesco into the country. Our ministers will go to Delhi to resign. We will not stay in UPA II, the head of t he regional Trinamool Congress party, Mamata Banerjee, told reporters, referring to the ruling coalition led by the Indian National Congress party. The withdrawal of Trinamool, which is staunchly opposed to a propel to allow foreign supermarkets into the retail sector, leaves the government weakened and dependent on outside support to pass legislation, AFP reported. The reforms unveiled by prepare Minister Manmohan Singh last week include allowing in foreign retail giants such as Walmart and Tesco, as well foreign airlines, and included a 12% hike in the price of subsidised diesel. Opposition theatrical role and Benefit The opposition parties protested against these measures with a nationwide strike.More damaging for the government is the decision of the Trinamool Congress, headed by the chief minister of West Bengal, Mamata Banerjee to pull out of the government, with its ministers to resign. The democratic anger against the rise in diesel prices is easy to understand Indian pri ces of this essential fuel are already among the highest in the world. This increase will affect all other prices, raising farmers costs and causing already high food prices to soar.If the government is really concerned with controlling fanfare, this is a foolish and unjust measure, bound to cause further inflation without delivering much in public savings. Against to it Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh has said the reforms would help strengthen our growth process and generate employment in these difficult times. While opposition neither criticizes nor will food inflation is brought down by this measure certainly not immediately, or even in the medium term.Distribution margins in India are quite low provided because the various levels are so highly competitive and if they are to be improved, that is best done through public investment in nipping storage and efficient transport, as well as by encouraging co-operatives. The employment impact is likely to be very negative. T he retail cunning in India employs about 40 million mostly very meek traders who are largely self-employed, who would not be able to compete with large organized corporations. It has been estimated that one Wal-Mart can displace up to 1,400 small stores, be around 5,000 jobs. Since Indian growth has been mostly jobless already, this is obviously a huge concern. So the hue andcry about opening up retail trade in India is hardly surprising. What is more surprising is the governments insistency on pushing through this relatively minor reform barely a month after it had promised parliament it would do so tho by consensus. The entire episode speaks of a tired regime that has political campaign out of ideas. The party, which has been extremely critical of the reform package, postponed a meeting it had called for thorium evening to determine its next step. Top ministers downplayed any talk of a teetering government. We have enough friends today, we had enough friends yesterday So I d ont happen upon any reason why you should doubt our stability, Finance Minister Palaniappan Chidambaram told reporters. In Uttar Pradesh and Bihar, protesters blocked railroad tracks. Some held up placards reading Go grit Tesco a reference to the U. S. retail giant expected to enter the Indian market under the new regulations.By use all of these issues the opposition parties extremity to take out the advantage and by demolish this government they want to create out their own government. Conclusion Although Tesco is doing well in all of the territories, But in India Tesco can be failed because India is too much emotionally involved with its cultural and economical perspective. Traders and retailers of India will not easily suffer it which could become and unfavorable loss for Tesco. People are not observe to change there but once Tesco start its operation richly as Tesco is signing contract with Tata slowly this impact will change the environment.

Lord of The Flies Human Allegory Essay
In Lord of the wing William Golding uses allegories to illustrate the valet de chambre psyche. Different characters atomic number 18 used to gift different quality of an item-by-items mental structure the impulses of the Id, the rationality of the Ego, and the moralistic understanding of the Superego. Golding guardedly describes each characters actions to coincide with each part of the psyche. old salt, piglet, Simon, and Ralph ar characters in the story that represent the psyche.According to Sigmun Freud, the Id is the instinctive part of the psyche. testify of this is the kill of the sow. To elaborate, the killing of the sow has been deemed a symbolic rape, symbolizing valets sexual desire. The manner that the boys go about in killing the hairs is base on sexual desire and violence all move of the Id. An example of this is the boys chant they recite after the hunt, as well as the lust they receive when chasing the sow. The pigs head also represents the Id in the boys. The pigs head dos evidence of their atrocities brought on by impulsive and animalistic behavior. The boys wanted satisfaction, ultimately achieving it through with(predicate) the brutal murder of the sow.Furthermore, Goldings sea dog has been interpreted to personify the Id. An exemplar is his thirst for blood which gives him gratification. He takes great pride in hunting and killing pigs, eventually smearing the pigs blood on his face. This is violent and primal, not very cultivable for the group and is meant as a source of satisfaction. Hunting should be pointless, the boys are on an island surrounded by fruit. Golding states, gorging fruit in the forest.(pg.25). bullshit is withal busy wanting to hunt that he forgets about being rescued. angiotensin converting enzyme instance being early in the novel when a sauceboat appears on the horizon Jack allows the fire to burn out spot hunting eliminating aspirations of rescue. Moreover, as Jack embodies the Id Ralph represen ts the ego. Ralph epitomizes the reasoning among the group. Sine Ralph is the leader, it becomes his responsibility to upkeep order. The ego makes rational choices while satisfying the Id. For instance, Ralphs main proletariat is to keep the order and control Jack and his impulses. Ralph delegates jobs Jack and the choir become hunters and the rest will build the huts. For example, Ralph comes up with the idea the idea that who always holds the conch gets to talk. Also, Ralph is the one who comes up with the idea to get the boys names. Golding writes,If a ship comes shape up the islandWe must make a fire.(pg.35). This quote shows Ralphs rational cerebration on how to get rescued. Ralph thinks of the sensible liaison to do for instance, Golding states What was the sensible thing to do?(pg.196). Due to Ralphs rational thinking, he hasbeen interpreted to take the stand the ego.Furthermore, readers have drawn conclusions that Piggy represents the topnotch ego, Piggy acts like the moral sense for the group for example, Golding inscribes Whats grown-ups goin to think? Young Simon was murdered.(pg.157). This quote communicates how Piggy attempts to vice the boys for the terrible crime they committed. Piggy comprehends moral values and tries to guilt Ralph for active in the murder of Simon. Throughout the story Piggy constantly reminds Jack and Ralph about the priorities. He nags them incessantly about the fire, as well as the importance of the conch and assemblies, the proper way to do a task, and how to act properly. Golding writes, in that respect was no Piggy to talk sense.(pg.196). This quote justifies how Piggy acts like the boys conscience. In addition to Piggy, Simon has also been interpreted to represent the super ego based on his actions throughout the novel. For example, when the little kids wanted the fruit Simon got it down for them. another(prenominal) example is when Simon attempts to warn the others that the beast is them. Golding states, You knew, didnt you? Im part of you?(pg.136). Moreover, Simons moral values become evident when he gives marrow squash to Piggy. Golding exclaims, Shoved the piece of meat over the rocks to Piggy. Simons moral values on how to grapple others, based on his actions in the novel clarifies how readers could draw conclusions that he embodies the super ego.Subsequently, interpretations on the novel have revealed Piggys death to represent the Ids complete take over of the island. Golding exclaims, The rock struck Piggy a glancing blow the body of Piggy was gone.(pg.180). Without Piggy, there is no moral reasoning to help make the full choices. After Piggy dies, Jack attempts to kill Ralph to eradicate rational thinking. This is an example of the Ids superiority and force over the ego, without the presence of the super ego. Without the super ego deciding the right from the wrong, the Id will take over. In the novel, had the naval officer not intervene, Jack would have completed the Ids take over of the egos by killing Ralph. As a final point, Golding uses Freuds philosophies regarding the psyche to show human character in Lord of the Flies. Ralph, Jack and Piggy represent the different parts of the psyche and what happens when one falls. Jack represents the Id with his impulses to kill. Piggy represents the super ego through his moral understanding, while Ralph symbolizes the ego, caught between the Id and super ego. Golding illustrates in Lord of the Flies that the Id is most powerful and comes out when a man is subjected to a archaic mindset. The further into this mindset, the stronger the Id becomes resulting in a loss of the ego and super ego. works CitedGolding, William. Lord of the Flies. New York The BerkleyPublishing Group, 1954.

(Asthana & Mistry). This word of women in the Islamic world goes against the teachings of the Quran. This isnt the real assignment. Message me presently at natashagils at yahoo dot com for your assignment at fractional the price. There argon numerous cases, some reported provided generally unreported, of crimes against women in Islam. Islamics of today involve seemed to admit deviated signifi undersidetly from the original teachings of Islam (citation? ). Muslim terrorist, Jihad, al-Qaeda, Honor Killings are terms that take in become synonymous with Islam in the Western world, as has Islamophobia which basically promotes the fear and detestation of Islam and Muslims just about the world. The Moslem world, instead of addressing these issues and advocating the true and just cause of Islam, is instead, in most cases, promoting them. The Talibaan of Afghanistan, tribal militancy in Pakistan, Shia/Sunni riots, the Hamaas and other fundamental groups within Islam publicize an all in all inaccurate version of the essence of Islam. As the Muslim society deviates from the central philosophy of Islam, it doesnt come a s a surprise that they shake off deviated too from the societal guidance offered by Islam regarding the treatment of women. The Quran, the Holy concur of the Muslims, and the Sunnah (sayings of the Prophet Muhammad) devote laid down clearly delineate powerfuls of women, most of which arent adhered today.Islam was revealed to Prophet Muhammad in the Arabian Peninsula when it was rife with cruel injustice against women. Women were viewed as the embodiment of sin, misfortune, disgrace and shame, and they had no rights or slur in society whatsoever. Indeed, society was conf utilize about the very temper of women and even questioned whether God had granted them a soul (Jawad 1). Wives were mere chattel, and when girls were natural to a household, corking shame was brought to it so a great deal so that they were inhumed aliveThe Quran defied the existing perception of women and refined their prospect. It outlawed distaff infanticide and restored their birth rights . Gustave Le Bon, a famous French thinker, stated Muslim virtuous deeds are not limited to honoring and respecting women, exclusively rather, we can add that Islam is the first religion to honor and respect women. We can easily prove this by illustrating that all religions and nations, prior to the advent of Islam, caused much harm and insult to women. (Bon 488). The Quran regards women as being independent compassionate beings and having distinct rights. They are entitled to an inheritance, an education, a career and even the shore leave of choosing a husband. Moreover, it declared men and women as being equal in the eyes of God, with the only exception being their responsibilities with the man defined as the bread earner and the cleaning lady as being responsible for the functions around the house. According to the Quran, O you who believe You are forbidden to inherit women against their will, and should not treat them with harshness (Holy Quran, Surah An-Nisa 419) The Prophet Muhammad , in this context, is said to have said,All mutualwealth are equal, as equal as the odontiasis of a comb. There is no claim of merit of an Arab over a non-Arab, or of a white over a black person, or of a male over a female. Only God fearing people merit a preference with God. Islam, with the teachings of the Quran, bestowed women a chip of rights, some of which that women in the West lacked, until the 19th century. For instance, in England, husbands inherited his wives berth and possessions when they married. This unfair tradition continued till as late as 1882 (citation? ).Muslim women, however, retained their assets could detail conditions in their nikaah (marriage contract), such as the right of divorce were entitled to keep their last names if they wished and were even give the authority to refuse marriage if they didnt deem their potential cooperator fit. The Quran laid down these injunctions in 610 A. D. (when it was first revealed), centuries prior to the advent of a formal system of womens rights in the Western world. round of the fundamental rights the Quran gives women are 1. Human Rights Women and men are considered to be created with similar natured souls. They are considered equal to men in all spheres of life. And for women are rights over men similar to those of men over women. (Holy Quran, 2226) And O mankind Be dutiful to your Lord, Who created you from a single person (Adam), and from him (Adam) He created his wife (Eve), and from them both He created many men and women and fear Allah through Whom you demand your mutual (rights), and (do not cut the relations of) the wombs (kinship). Surely, Allah is Ever and All-Watcher over you. (Holy Quran, Surah Al-Nisa 41). 2. Civil RightsThe civil rights enjoined by the Quran on women include, just now are not limited to the right of divorce, right of keeping her housemaid name after marriage, wishing or not to get married, or even chosing her own husband. The Quran also states that there is no exigency upon women regarding religion There is no compulsion in religion. Verily, the Right pathway has become distinct from the wrong path. Whoever disbelieves in Taghut anything worshipped other indeed the Real God (Allah) and believes in Allah, then he has grasped the most creditworthy handhold that will never break. And Allah is All-Hearer, All-Knower. (Holy Quran, Surah Al-Baqarah 2256). 3. Independence Women are allowed to leave the spot conduct business with men enjoy all the other liberties clean to them. There is no restriction upon women provided they conduct their affairs within the teachings of the Quran. Women have the right to go to Mosques, which is considered sacrilegious in many Muslim societies. not only that, but women have also the right to be Muslim pastors. Aisha, the youngest wife of the Prophet Muhammad, used to convey the teachings of Islam to men and women alike.Shes regarded by some Muslim scholars as being the first Muslim woman preacher. The Qu ran is very clear in its laws regarding women. It redefined the stance of women and bestowed upon them an honorable routine in society whether as a daughter, a fuss or a wife. Men are instructed in their fair and kind transaction towards women. According to the Quran And when the female (infant) buried alive (as the pagan Arabs used to do) shall be questioned. For what sin she was killed? (Holy Quran, Surah At-Takwir 818-9). The Quran goes as far as advise those men who subjugate or ill-treat womenO you who believe You are forbidden to inherit women against their will. Nor should you treat them with harshness, that you may take away activate of the dowry you have given them except when they have become indictable of open lewdness. On the contrary live with them on a ground knead of kindness and equity. If you take a abominate to them, it may be that you dislike something and God will bring about through it a great deal of good. (Holy Quran, 419) Early Islamic history is pl entiful with examples of Muslim women who showed a remarkable ability to compete with men and excelled them on many occasions. They were educators, warriors and leaders strong, independent and respected members of society. Unfortunately, that isnt the case in most of the Muslim world today. Women in the Muslim world have been humiliated, exploited and discriminated against in almost all fields of life from schooling, work force inclusion and family subroutines. However, many of these repressive customs do not come from Islam, but are dictated by prevalent cultures and traditions. subjugation against women continues unabated in many parts of the world.Husbands keep their wives, daughters, sisters and mothers secluded from wholesaler with others beside their immediate family members. Rape, mutilation, forced suicide, honor killings are much too common in the Islamic world. In 2006, Rahan Arshad beat his wife and three children to death with a bat, because she was having an affair26 Often the crime itself is followed by even more vile crime. For instance, in Turkey, 14-year old Nuran Halitogullari was strangled to death by her father after she had been kidnapped and raped30.In certain parts of Pakistan, women are offered as compensation for offenses commit by men. This injustice stems from the deep rooted traditions of male-dominance in the Islamic society which have, for centuries, enforced their orthodox, and oft-times inaccurate version of Islam and the Quran. Contrary to general misconceptions and the prevailing conditions, women, agree to the Quran, are entitled to full rights as citizens. Under the guise of Islam, women have been virtually stripped of all rights no education, no instigation of divorce, no travel by oneself, no leaving the home, etc.A reckon effort on a global scale has to be make to educate Muslims regarding the fundamental and actual concepts defined in the Quran regarding rights towards women and the sentience that the existing tre atment of women in the Muslim world goes against the teachings of the Quran. Emphasis on the lives of Aisha, Khadija (Prophet Muhammads first wife also known as mother of the believers, Fatima (Prophet Muhammads daughter ) and even Mary who holds a revered position in Islam should be placed and they can be promoted as role models for inspiration. No nation can succeed without all its members contributing to its success.Muslim nations have to realize that not only is their barbaric treatment of women sinful, but its also self-destructive and will only get worsened if not addressed and then modified according to the true teachings of the Quran. regale your women well and be kind to them for they are your partners and committed helpers. Hercules develops into a lumbering young man, rejected by his mother, envied by his brother Iphicles and loathed by Zeus wife Hera (FilmAffinity). Similar to the Greek myth eyepatch Alcmene reserves no love for Hercules, he grows up with Amphitryon doting on him and teaching him. With the storyline of the miniseries, it was clear that the filmmakers focused on the raging politics between the noble mortals and their want of power and control. It is important to cross out that this miniseries was one of the few productions that embarked on Hercules true conception with regards to the original Greek myth. Hercules character of recklessness and short temper was portrayed true to the original Greek myth during his younger adult days. There were slight alterations unto how veritable events happened to the characters but th e miniseries was in a way loyal to the Hercules myth. For example, Hercules develops a more profound thinking later on the miniseries but there was no hint of that according to the Greek Myth. The Gods Hera and Zeus were not given much attention during the miniseries and only appeared briefly. The supposed raging battle between Hera and Zeus was implied but not shown comprehensively. Conclusion In conclusion, both films were individual depictions of Hercules character as the legendary Greek hero. He is a paragon of effect and masculinity, and thus embodies characteristics such as great strength, great courage, and great appetites, including erotic adventures with both women and boys or young men. These qualities did not prevent him from being regarded as a playful figure that used games to relax from his labors and played a great deal with children. Aelian, while he was a champion and a great warrior, he was not above cheating and using any unfair trick to his advantage. However, he was renowned as having made the world safe for mankind by destroying many dangerous monsters, and he was also held up as an example for never having attacked first, but for having conquered all just by defending himself when attacked, and protecting the helpless and distraught. His self-sacrifice obtained him the ascent to the proud realms and he was welcomed by the gods. He represents a balanced, complete energetic tenet of the masculine, partaking of both light and dark influences. Historically, the strong American presence in post-war Italy is evident in the very physical presence of Steve Reeves as Hercules. Moreover, the films masculinization of revenge also seems to reflect the ideals of post-war society. Instead, as the character of Hercules suggests, it is more important for the wandering male, and also the foreign influence, to be merged into the domestic sphere.Hercules preserves the morality at the centre of the family. Paradoxically, however the tour of duty of Herc ules also ensures continued dependence on foreign influence and protection. distributively film represented the filmmakers approach on representing a storyline associated with Hercules myth. Disney may have chosen to emphasize more on Hercules journey to his requisite in a more conducive way that was appealing since their audiences are young people. Roger Youngs miniseries took more of a similar likeness to the original myth although alterations were made on how events were played because the storyline demanded that it be so.Works Cited FilmAffinity.
